Stonepeak completed a $3 billion equity-value recapitalization of Cologix on 4 April 2022. Infrastructure Fund II and co-investors sold the business to Stonepeak-managed vehicles that combined reinvesting existing investors with new third-party capital. Mubadala exited its investment through this recapitalization. Stonepeak had first acquired a majority stake in March 2017, with Mubadala adding growth capital in January 2020. Cologix also completed a separate $1.65 billion asset-backed securitization earlier in 2022. The transactions financed its North American interconnection and hyperscale-edge data-center expansion. Goldman Sachs advised Stonepeak and RBC advised Fund II; Simpson Thacher acted as legal counsel. The continuation structure preserves Stonepeak management while distinguishing the selling and buying vehicles.
The Investment Management Corporation of Ontario announced a US$500 million customized private direct lending investment managed by Antares Capital LP, following a competitive manager selection process. IMCO said this platform would underpin the direct lending component of its Global Credit strategy, financing sponsor-backed middle-market borrowers in the United States and Canada. The institution targeted diversification across 75 to 100 issuers, industries and private equity sponsors. At the time, Antares described US$42.9 billion of capital under management and administration as of June 30, 2021, which is not equivalent to verified group total AUM. The announcement identified a bespoke managed investment program rather than a subscription to a specifically named Antares fund.

This financing serves as a major validation of the fund's investment framework by a leading multilateral lender.
