Data access and reuse terms
DataBane compiles and organizes research from attributed sources. These terms describe access to the DataBane compilation; they do not transfer ownership of underlying facts or third-party material.
Platform access
Public profile summaries can be read without an account. A verified free account can unlock five distinct firm profiles per day, including their related fund, deal and people pages. The allowance resets at 12:00 AM in the account’s saved local time zone. Reopening an unlocked profile during the same day does not use another unlock.
Limited research use
DataBane permits viewing its compilation through the platform for personal or internal business research within the applicable access allowance. Account access does not grant a license to bulk extract, redistribute, resell or republish the DataBane compilation. Contact DataBane to request those rights or wider access. Applicable statutory rights are unaffected.
Original sources
Third-party text, trademarks and other source material retain their original rights and conditions. DataBane does not grant an open-data or Creative Commons license over material it does not own. Consult the original source for its reuse terms.
