On April 27, 2026, Stonepeak and Bernhard Capital Partners announced an agreement to acquire regulated Louisiana electricity utility Cleco. The seller consortium comprised Macquarie Asset Management, British Columbia Investment Management Corporation and Manulife Investment Management. Cleco serves residential, commercial and industrial customers across 24 parishes in Louisiana. The announcement provided a signed transaction but did not itself confirm closing, a purchase price or BCI's share of proceeds. BCI's role should be identified as a seller, with its underlying portfolio relationship left open until a closing announcement is verified.
Grow Therapy announced on March 4, 2026 that it raised US$150 million in Series D funding, co-led by existing backers TCV and Growth Equity at Goldman Sachs Alternatives. BCI and Menlo Ventures joined as new investors alongside other existing venture backers. Grow Therapy connects patients, therapists and psychiatric care providers and works with payers, employers and health systems to expand behavioral health access. The disclosed amount is the overall round size, not BCI's specific contribution. The announcement supports BCI's participation in growth-stage healthcare technology investments.
On September 9, 2025, BCI and AEA Investors announced the acquisition of Pave America, a commercial pavement maintenance operator with a broad branch network across the United States. The sellers were Trivest Partners and Shoreline Equity Partners, each retaining a minority investment alongside company management. Pave America uses proprietary software to support lead tracking, operations and invoicing for commercial maintenance and construction customers. The purchase price and each purchaser's equity stake were not disclosed. BCI participated as an acquirer, rather than as the company being acquired.
BCI announced on June 23, 2025 that it completed a take-private acquisition of BBGI Global Infrastructure S.A., with an announced value of approximately £1.0 billion or C$1.9 billion. The transaction was BCI's first sole-investor take-private. Luxembourg-based BBGI invests in essential infrastructure projects in several countries, including social assets such as schools and hospitals as well as transport facilities. The transaction strengthened BCI's direct infrastructure ownership and control. An exact US-dollar purchase price was not disclosed in the company release, so no estimated USD value should be entered.
BCI announced the closing of its sale of a majority equity interest in Hayfin Capital Management to Arctos Partners on February 10, 2025. BCI had invested in the European-focused private credit platform in 2017 and participated in its development as an asset manager. Although the equity stake was sold, BCI continued as a significant strategic limited partner in selected Hayfin funds. The transaction agreement had been announced in July 2024. Neither the exit consideration nor BCI's residual LP commitments was disclosed, so those figures should remain blank.
