BCI, Norges Bank Investment Management and Brookfield announced Northview Energy on March 3, 2026, with equal funding and equity ownership among the three investors. The renewable platform's seed assets comprise 22 contracted wind and solar facilities with approximately 2.3 GW of generating capacity across six US power markets. A separate framework envisages potential future purchases of renewable assets requiring up to US$1.5 billion in equity. The announcement expected an official launch in the second quarter subject to customary approvals, so it should not be mistaken for confirmation of transaction closing.
BCI reported on June 20, 2025 that it had committed US$200 million as an anchor investor to Arini Direct Lending Fund, which focuses on European middle-market borrowers. The fund was launched through an alliance between Arini Capital Management and Lazard. BCI also described the possibility of more than US$400 million in future co-investments if opportunities met its criteria, but this was an option rather than executed funding. The commitment expanded BCI's access to European private credit opportunities and its pool of general-partner relationships across negotiated debt and co-investment strategies.
