Antares Closes $1.2 Billion Private Credit Continuation Vehicle Led by Ares Management
Antares Capital →Antares and Ares closed Antares' first continuation vehicle with more than $1.2 billion in aggregate commitments. Ares Credit Secondaries funds led the deal and Antares participated as an investor. The vehicle purchased assets and LP interests from two commingled private credit funds associated with over 100 underlying first-lien floating-rate loans. It enabled existing investors to seek liquidity while a new investor group accessed Antares-originated loans. Antares' liquidity-solutions head Ben Chapin and Ares credit secondaries head Dave Schwartz commented on the transaction. Individual investor tickets and asset pricing were not disclosed.
