Antares Closes $1.7 Billion Private Credit Continuation Vehicle Led by Ares
Antares Capital →Antares and Ares announced Antares' second credit continuation vehicle, with more than $1.7 billion in aggregate commitments. Ares Credit Secondaries funds led the financing and Antares also committed capital, with individual amounts undisclosed. The vehicle acquired assets from a closed-end Antares-managed credit fund comprising over 300 first-lien, floating-rate loans. Existing fund investors were offered a liquidity option, while the new vehicle preserved Antares' management of the underlying loans. Evercore, GreensLedge and Moelis advised the transaction. The capital commitment figure refers to the whole vehicle, not a single investor's investment.
