Founded in 2006, Future Fund is Australia's sovereign wealth fund, established to strengthen the Commonwealth's long-term financial position and provide for unfunded superannuation liabilities. The independent Board of Guardians determines investment strategy, supported by the Future Fund Management Agency. The fund invests globally across public and private markets, with a long-term mandate and regard to Australian infrastructure, housing and the energy transition.
