The Barclays Bank UK Retirement Fund provides defined benefit and defined contribution pension benefits to members and beneficiaries. Its assets are held in trust separately from Barclays. The Fund invests in bonds, private equity, infrastructure, property, hedge funds and cash. Barclays Pension Funds Trustees Limited governs the Barclays Bank and Barclays UK Sections under a common trust. Oak Pension Asset Management implements and monitors investment policy within parameters set by the Trustee.
