USS invests in bp forecourt property joint venture
Universities Superannuation Scheme →USS agreed a 49% interest in a sale-and-leaseback property joint venture covering 199 UK bp forecourts. bp retained operating control as tenant under 20-year leases. The price was nearly GBP400 million and is not entered as an exact amount. This is a property JV, not 49% of bp plc.
