Sycamore completes Walgreens Boots Alliance acquisition

Sycamore announced completion of its Walgreens Boots Alliance acquisition in partnership with Stefano Pessina and his family, who reinvested all their WBA interests. Walgreens, The Boots Group, Shields Health Solutions, CareCentrix and VillageMD became separate standalone businesses. WBA common stock ceased Nasdaq trading. This date is the completion announcement; contemporaneous subsidiary releases explicitly state the transaction closed that day.
