EQT announces majority acquisition agreement for historical investee HRBrain

BPEA EQT Mid-Market Growth agreed to acquire a majority interest in HRBrain from existing shareholders, with the founder retaining a significant minority stake. Completion was expected in the fourth quarter of 2023 at announcement. Dai-ichi Life had been named in HRBrain’s 2020 financing. The acquisition announcement does not identify the insurer as a seller, establish its proceeds or prove an insurer exit.
