Dai-ichi Life announces further centralization of investment execution at parent
Daiichi Life →Dai-ichi Life announced plans to transfer equity-investment and responsible-investment execution functions to its holding parent from 1 October 2026, following bond and alternative-investment functions in October 2025. The insurer remains the owner of its investment assets and retains investment-policy and portfolio-construction responsibilities. The announcement made the new consolidation conditional on regulatory approval; the current asset-management policy separately confirms outsourcing of specified functions. It does not establish a transfer of the insurer’s assets to parent ownership.
