PZU receives competition approval for pending acquisition of MetLife Ukraine

PZU announced Ukrainian competition approval for its proposed acquisition of MetLife Ukraine. Closing remained subject to other regulatory conditions, including National Bank of Ukraine approval. The regulator separately names MetLife Global Holding Company II GmbH as seller under the share-sale agreement. No completed exit, purchase price or approximate market-share figures are asserted.
