Citi and HPS announce EUR15 billion EMEA lending programme

Citi and HPS announced a programme intended to finance EUR15 billion of debt opportunities over five years. Citi will originate opportunities for corporate and sponsor-owned borrowers in continental Europe, the UK and eventually the Middle East. Eligible instruments are sub-investment-grade debt. The programme figure is planned financing capacity, not an amount already invested.
