Orexigen announces private placement led by Baupost-managed funds

Orexigen announced a private placement of convertible senior secured notes led by Baupost-managed funds to support commercialization of Contrave in the United States. The separate acquisition of Contrave rights from Takeda remained subject to regulatory clearance in this announcement.
