InfraVia convertible-note investment in Core Lithium
InfraVia Capital Partners →On 19 March 2026 InfraVia announced its first Critical Metals strategy investment, committing US$50 million through a convertible note to Core Lithium. This forms part of a broader US$205 million package with Glencore, Nebari and institutional investors. Financing supports operation of the Finniss lithium project south of Darwin in Australia’s Northern Territory. The project combines underground and open-pit ore extraction with on-site processing into high-grade spodumene concentrate. First concentrate shipments were expected in the third quarter of 2026, with full commercial production targeted for mid-2028. InfraVia identified possible future plant expansion and regional resource growth. The instrument is a convertible note, so no existing equity ownership percentage is inferred. The French State seeds the Critical Metals strategy alongside private institutional capital.
