Sovereign institutions establish China-ASEAN Joint Investment Council

CIC convened the China-ASEAN Joint Investment Council with GPF Thailand, INA, Khazanah, KWAP and SOFAZ. CGS International serves as secretariat. Inaugurated on 8 September 2026, the council supports institutional dialogue and investment cooperation; it is distinct from the earlier China-ASEAN investment platform and is not a new funded mandate.
