Two Sigma settles SEC investment-model and whistleblower-rule charges

The SEC announced settled charges against Two Sigma Investments LP and Two Sigma Advisers LP concerning model vulnerabilities, compliance, supervision and whistleblower protections. Each adviser agreed to a civil penalty and censure without admitting or denying the findings. The firms also voluntarily repaid affected funds and accounts.
