IFM opens Singapore office and expands APAC diversified credit
IFM Investors →IFM opened its Singapore office on 3 September 2026 to expand investment origination, execution and institutional fundraising across Asia. The firm identified diversified credit as a particular priority for the new location, citing demand for flexible financing and institutional portfolio diversification. The launch followed a partnership with Export Finance Australia that provided an A$175 million commitment to IFM's Asia-Pacific private credit capabilities under the Southeast Asia Investment Financing Facility. Target sectors included industrials, manufacturing, services, renewable energy, telecommunications and real assets. The release disclosed total group AUM of A$291.6 billion, equivalent to US$204.8 billion, at 31 July 2026. It reported more than 880 institutional clients and 18 offices. This corrects the existing record's unsupported September 2024 office-opening date.
