Renaissance announces planned RIDGE fund family launch

Renaissance Technologies stated in its March 30, 2016 Form ADV brochure that the newly formed Renaissance Institutional Diversified Global Equities fund family was expected to begin accepting contributions and trading on April 1, 2016. Its stated strategy was equity securities publicly traded on global exchanges and derivatives thereon. This was a planned commencement, not confirmation that trading had started.
