Middle East energy infrastructure partnership

Stonepeak →

Stonepeak and The Arab Energy Fund announced an energy infrastructure strategic partnership on 19 May 2025. The official headline describes a $1 billion partnership, but the text does not allocate this amount between partners or identify it as a completed investment. Its purpose is to support energy businesses and critical infrastructure across the Middle East. The Arab Energy Fund, formerly APICORP, is a multilateral impact financial institution established by ten Arab oil-exporting countries in 1974. It supplies financing, direct equity and advisory services across the energy value chain. Stonepeak's regional presence and global investment experience support the partnership. Specific portfolio companies, individual commitment schedules and ownership splits were not disclosed.
