Sale of Stonepeak KAPS stake to Keyera
Stonepeak →Keyera announced and completed the purchase of Stonepeak's remaining 50% non-operating KAPS interest on 17 June 2026 for CAD1.215 billion. Keyera consequently owns the full pipeline and continues operating it. KAPS connects condensate and natural-gas-liquids production from the Montney and Duvernay regions to downstream markets. Keyera reported additional contracted volumes since 2025 and stated that Zone 4 construction remained on schedule for mid-2027 service. Acquisition funding initially used existing credit facilities, with planned equity and future debt financing to repay borrowings. Scotia Capital advised Stonepeak, supported by Sidley Austin, Stikeman Elliott and Goodmans. This completed exit supersedes the current-holding classification on Stonepeak's general portfolio page.
