Carlyle Agrees to Acquire MAI Capital Management Majority Stake

MAI announced an agreement for Carlyle-managed funds to acquire a majority stake, valuing the company above USD 2.8 billion. Harvest Partners-managed funds, Galway Holdings and Oak Hill were expected to exit upon closing. The subsequently completed transaction was confirmed by MAI on June 8, effective June 4, 2026.
