Morecambe Offshore Windfarm Receives Transmission Development Consent

On 14 September 2026, COP announced development consent for the 480 MW Morecambe offshore wind farm's transmission assets, completing project-wide consent following generation consent in December 2025. COP leads development and construction while Flotation Energy remains a development partner. The project is owned by Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners, not COP.
