Franklin Templeton announces new Qatar entity and local office plans

Franklin Templeton announced the establishment of Franklin Templeton Investments QFC LLC following initial authorisation from the Qatar Financial Centre Regulatory Authority. The firm said it would establish a local office within the Qatar Financial Centre. The expansion builds on its existing relationship with the Qatar Investment Authority and its Qatar equity offering.
