Franklin Templeton completes 250 Digital acquisition and establishes Franklin Crypto

Franklin Templeton completed its acquisition of 250 Digital, including its investment team and liquid cryptocurrency strategies previously run by CoinFund. At closing, the firm established Franklin Crypto. Christopher Perkins became Head of Franklin Crypto and Seth Ginns became Chief Investment Officer, working alongside Tony Pecore. The division reports to Sandy Kaul and targets institutional investors.
