Cathy Cranston selected as Ontario Teachers’ next board chair

Cathy Cranston was selected to become board chair effective January 1, 2027. A board member since 2019, she will succeed Steve McGirr when he retires at the end of 2026. The appointment was made jointly by the Government of Ontario and the Ontario Teachers’ Federation.
