Federal Reserve approves Santander's acquisition of Webster

Santander and Webster announced Federal Reserve approval for the acquisition of Webster Financial Corporation. The release also confirmed Office of the Comptroller of the Currency approval on June 12, 2026, and European Central Bank authorization on July 21, 2026. At the time of this announcement, the companies expected closing on August 20, 2026.
