La Trobe confirms Axight investment completed as OMERS agrees to join shareholder base

La Trobe Financial confirmed that Axight's minority investment had completed earlier in 2026. OMERS agreed to acquire an indirect minority interest from Brookfield, which would remain the majority shareholder. The OMERS transaction remained subject to regulatory approvals and was expected to close by January 2027.
