Swiss Re reports first-half 2026 results and announces leadership changes

For the six months ended 30 June 2026, Swiss Re reported Group net income of USD 2,833 million and insurance revenue of USD 20,264 million. Annualised return on investments was 4.0%. The release also announced Velina Peneva as CEO of Life & Health Reinsurance and Martin Zingg as Group CIO, both effective 1 October 2026.
