Swiss Re Institute updates Florida hurricane loss scenarios

On the centenary of the Great Miami Hurricane, Swiss Re Institute published updated severe-hurricane scenarios for Florida. It highlights how population growth, concentrated property values, storm tracks, construction standards and mitigation change potential insured losses. These are modelled scenarios rather than incurred Swiss Re losses.
