CalSTRS reports 13.9% net investment return for fiscal 2025–26

CalSTRS reported a 13.9% net investment return for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2026, exceeding its 13.5% policy benchmark by 0.4 percentage points. Global Equity returned 25.1%, Private Equity 7.5%, Fixed Income 4.4%, and Real Estate 0.2%. Private-asset valuations lagged three months and were adjusted for cash flows through June 30.
