Swiss Re launches Resilient Switzerland Initiative

Swiss Re launched its Resilient Switzerland Initiative to strengthen risk knowledge, prevention and risk sharing. The announcement highlighted extreme heat as a growing risk to health, infrastructure, agriculture, water and energy. Swiss Re also announced its inaugural Schweizer Resilienz-Tag for 26 June 2026 at its Centre for Global Dialogue in Rüschlikon, bringing together public and private stakeholders to discuss local heat adaptation.
