Providence announces final close of first SBIC fund

Providence announced the final closing of Providence Investment Partners I LP with $185 million of committed capital. The release identifies commercial banks, asset managers, family offices and individuals as investor categories. It describes seven completed transactions and more than $54 million invested in the first operating year. These are fund-commitment and cumulative-deployment disclosures, not manager AUM. The release does not quantify the target or reconcile committed capital with leverage.
