Z2 launches lower middle market investment platform

Z2 launched as an alternative investment manager focused on debt and equity investments in non-sponsored lower middle market businesses in North America. Scott Gold and Jake Sussman led the new firm after working together at Arena Investors. Z2's approach combines privately negotiated direct lending and growth-oriented equity capital.
