NFC closes Fund IV and hires Erika Nash

Next Frontier Capital announced the final close of NFC Fund IV with $102 million in commitments on September 11, 2024. New institutional investors included the New Mexico State Investment Council. The fund's sourcing region spans the Intermountain West, with investment themes including financial technology, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, energy, climate, defense and deep technology. NFC also announced Erika Nash's appointment as a Partner in Boulder, joining Kirsten Suddath. Nash had worked at OpenView Partners, Pelion Venture Partners and Sorenson Capital. The manager identified initial Fund IV investments including 401GO, VirtualZ Computing, Paramify, Reveal, PolyAPI, SquarePeg and Hoonify in the same announcement.
