Aalo Atomics and Crusoe announce nuclear-powered AI data center partnership

Aalo Atomics and Crusoe announced a partnership to develop and deploy a nuclear-powered AI data center. Their initial plan was for Aalo to supply a Crusoe Spark modular facility running Crusoe Cloud in 2027 as a proof of concept. The companies also described an intention to deploy larger Aalo Pod plants at Crusoe data centers by the end of 2029. These dates were forward-looking plans, not completed installations. The release followed Aalo’s first criticality milestone and said construction of its second reactor had begun. Aalo’s company description named Crosscut among its investors. The agreement did not disclose a new investment by Crosscut.
