Barker Block counsel reports partial construction-defect settlement

The Miller Law Firm, counsel for Barker Block’s homeowners association, announced a $7.3 million partial settlement concerning construction-defect claims at the project originally converted and sold by KOR and CityView. Counsel said three insurance policies funded the settlement. This is the claimant’s report, not a court finding, a regulatory penalty or evidence that Cityview alone paid the amount.
