Spirit Super and Palisade abandon proposed Geelong acquisition

The ACCC reported that the Spirit Super and Palisade consortium withdrew its merger-clearance request and decided not to proceed with its proposed Port of Geelong acquisition. This abandoned proposal is distinct from the later Stonepeak and Spirit Super acquisition completed in April 2023.
