AIMCo signs investment agreement with Alberta Teachers’ Retirement Fund

AIMCo entered an investment management agreement with Alberta Teachers’ Retirement Fund. ATRF retained ownership and fiduciary responsibility for pension assets, while AIMCo would implement investments within ATRF policy limits. The agreement planned a transition of assets by December 31, 2021, not a transfer of beneficial ownership to AIMCo.
