AIMCo leads investment in Virescent Renewable Energy Trust

AIMCo led a group investment in Virescent Renewable Energy Trust, an Indian renewable-energy InvIT sponsored by KKR. The INR4.6 billion fundraising total applies to the investor group, not AIMCo alone. KKR invested through its Asia Pacific Infrastructure Investors Fund. VRET’s assets initially comprised nine solar projects.
