ITN Pension Scheme renews Aon fiduciary-management appointment

Aon announced on October 22, 2020 that the ITN Pension Scheme had renewed its fiduciary-management appointment. The £400 million scheme had used Aon for that service since 2013. The renewal followed a competitive re-tender under the Competition and Markets Authority order, rather than a new first appointment. Aon also served as actuary and investment adviser. Trustees discussed the manager’s understanding of the scheme and integration of responsible investment. The announcement identified ITN as the news and television production business behind the pension arrangement. It disclosed no new private-fund commitment, fee or guaranteed return. The scheme value described the client mandate, not a separate increment to published global AUM.
