Schneider Pension Plan selects Aon for full fiduciary management
Aon Investments →Aon announced on July 15, 2019 that the Schneider Pension Plan trustees had appointed it as sole fiduciary manager for the plan’s total investment portfolio. The release described the plan as worth almost £400 million. Selection followed a formal tender, with the trustees seeking investment expertise and a service aligned to their funding strategy. Aon designed a tailored approach intended to broaden investment options, support diversification and allow faster responses to market conditions. The trustee chair emphasized the long-term return objective and governance demands. This was a pension-management mandate connected to Schneider Electric, not an acquisition of the industrial company or evidence that Aon owned the pension assets.
