Aon introduces integrated Future DB pension endgame service
Aon Investments →Aon launched Future DB on August 4, 2026 for UK defined benefit pension schemes approaching their endgame. It brings together administration, governance, actuarial, investment and covenant advice in one framework, with one main contact for each scheme. The service supports several possible routes, including running on, flexible risk transfer and insurance buyout. Maria Johannessen, senior partner and UK head of Investment, emphasized linking investment strategy with the scheme’s chosen endgame and funding position. The proposition uses Aon’s existing investment platform alongside its ASTRO run-on framework and Pension Endgame Analyzer. This is an expansion of coordinated advisory and implementation services, rather than a new investment fund, acquisition or announcement of assets already committed by clients.
