Brookfield completes acquisition of Oaktree

Brookfield announced completion of the acquisition of the remaining 26% of Oaktree on July 31, 2026. The transaction gives Brookfield 100% ownership and integrates credit management capabilities; total consideration was approximately $3 billion. Brookfield's combined credit-platform AUM should not be treated as standalone Oaktree AUM.
