Aviva appoints Mark Thompson to chair UKLAP Independent Governance Committee

Aviva appointed Mark Thompson as chair of its UK Life and Pensions Independent Governance Committee, effective 1 October 2026. The committee oversees value for money and customer interests in Aviva’s workplace pension arrangements. Thompson previously served as chief investment officer of the HSBC UK Pension Scheme.
