Global Payments agrees to acquire Worldpay; Wells Fargo advises Worldpay

Global Payments agreed to acquire Worldpay at USD 24.25 billion enterprise value in a transaction involving GTCR and FIS. The buyer separately described USD 22.7 billion net purchase price after tax-asset value. Wells Fargo acted as Worldpay’s financial adviser. Global Payments’ parallel sale of Issuer Solutions to FIS was a separate leg of the three-way transaction.
