Wells Fargo announces Cayetano Gea-Carrasco appointment to consumer AI and data leadership

Wells Fargo announced that Cayetano Gea-Carrasco is joining as head of AI and Data for Consumer Banking and Lending, reporting to Saul Van Beurden and based in San Francisco. He joins from BBVA, where he led enterprise AI transformation and global data and analytics, after previously spending 15 years at Moody’s. His remit includes AI use cases, data simplification and coordination with Enterprise AI. The release does not disclose an exact employment start date.
