BlackRock completes acquisition of HPS Investment Partners

BlackRock completed its acquisition of HPS Investment Partners and launched a combined Private Financing Solutions business. The business brought together private credit, GP and LP solutions, and private and liquid collateralized loan obligations. Scott Kapnick, Scot French and Michael Patterson led the new platform, and HPS flagship investment strategies retained their brands.
