CommScope to Sell its Connectivity and Cable Solutions Segment to Amphenol Corporation for $10.5 billion

CommScope agreed to sell its Connectivity and Cable Solutions segment to Amphenol for approximately USD10.5 billion in cash. Carlyle is a preferred investor in CommScope; the company planned to redeem those preferred securities with part of the sale proceeds. The segment sale value is not Carlyle’s investment realization.
